Ruby Tuesday: Rooster

Found  this amusing sculpture made from recycled materials

at a local garden center. I liked his rusty red rooster head,

his washer eye and his battered tail.

I didn't bring him home because I didn't want him

crowing when the sun came up 

and disturbing my sleep.

I prefer the still serenity of

Buddhas and Kuan Yins.
