52 Photos Project: I Went for a Walk

A few days ago, I had to make a run
to Seattle to get copies of a court document.

I arrived early and it was a beautiful day,
so I went for a walk,
like the bear who went over the mountain,
to see what I could see.

This is what I found. . .

Birds, singing their song.

(the goldfinch is the Washington State bird)

Bees flitting around flowers.

Regal Bears and Grazing Bison,
totally oblivious to Mount Rainier
in the background.

All these critters, right in the middle of the city.

Who knew?

These great images were all publicly-sponsored street art
on the walls surrounding a construction site next to
the downtown bus tunnel.

Unfortunately, this marvelous artist wasn't identified
and I don't recognize his or her style,
so I can't give proper attribution.

Wow! Those are wild images! I thought you were somehow manipulating photos yourself with a "pencil-sketch" tool (until I got to the bear).

I hope you'll visit my new blog, Meri. I can be found here: kats52pickup.blogspot.com

The art work is fantastic and fun. I did not know the state bird. Thanks for enlightening me.
Love the bright colours, but especially the bear who looks so friendly!
