Mosaic Monday: Dreaming of Spring

After several days of intermittent snowfall
and periods of temps in the teens and 20s,
icy sidewalks and traffic inconveniences,
it's finally warmed up into the thirties.

I knew when I first roused this morning,
because I could hear the raindrops drumming
against the skylight in my bathroom.

So I fed the hungry felines,
then cozied back up in my comfy bed
and willed myself to dream spring into being.

I'm not very good at playing Mother Nature,
just taking pictures of her handiwork
in my garden once she's done her job.

Visit Mary and the other players at Mosaic Monday.

Mother Nature has been busier in your garden than in mine. We're just getting the rain after four days of snow, snow and more snow.
